In short: The numbers you type into our calculators (rent, dates, deposit and so on) are worked out in your browser. We do not save them on our server. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to count visits, and we may show ads from Google.
Who We Are
Prorated Rent Calculator (proratedrentcalculator.us) is a free website with rent calculators. This policy applies to this website only. If you have any question, you can write to us at admin@proratedrentcalculator.us.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not ask you to sign up or log in.
- We do not save the rent, dates, deposit or any other number you type into our tools. The result is made in your browser.
- We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or payment details to use the calculators.
What We May Collect
When you visit our website, some basic information is collected automatically by our server and by the tools we use. This can include:
- Your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system.
- The pages you visit, the time you spend on them and the website you came from.
- Your approximate location, such as your country or city, based on your IP address.
- Simple actions on the website, such as pressing the Calculate or Download button. We count the action, not the numbers you typed.
If you send us an email, we get your email address and the message you write. We use it only to reply to you.
How We Use This Information
- To keep the website working and to fix problems.
- To see which pages and tools are useful, so we can make them better.
- To keep the website safe from spam and misuse.
- To show ads that help us keep the tools free.
- To answer your emails.
Cookies and Local Storage
Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device. Our website and the services we use may set cookies for visit counts and ads (see below). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work in the same way if you do.
We also save one small setting in your browser's local storage: your choice of dark or light theme. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar tools to collect information such as your IP address, pages visited and time on the site. This data is sent to Google and is used by us in a combined form. To learn how Google uses data, visit How Google uses information from sites that use its services. If you do not want your visits counted, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google DoubleClick DART Cookie
Google is one of the third-party vendors on our site. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to proratedrentcalculator.us and other sites on the internet. However, visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Our Advertising Partners
Some of the advertisers on our site may use cookies and web beacons. Our advertising partners are listed below. Each of our advertising partners has their own privacy policy for their policies on user data. For easier access, we hyperlinked to their privacy policies below.
You can also manage the ads you see from Google in your Google Ad Settings, or learn more about interest-based ads and opt out at optout.aboutads.info.
Download, Share and Third-Party Files
When you press Download PDF or Download Image, two helper files (html2canvas and jsPDF) are loaded from the cdnjs content network. This happens only when you press the button. Your result file is made inside your browser and is not uploaded to us. When you use the Share button, your own device or app decides where the file goes.
Links to Other Websites
Our website has links to other websites, including karankk.com and other tools made by the same owner. We do not control these sites and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies when you visit them.

If you live in a state with privacy laws, such as California, you may have extra rights to know, delete or correct your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of it. We do not sell the information you type into our tools, because we do not collect it. For ads and analytics, please use the opt-out links above.
Children's Privacy
Our website is made for adults and is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, please email us and we will remove it.
